I started my „adult“ life as a student leader during the Velvet Revolution in 1989, and this shaped my next steps, directions, life, successes, and failures. I spent 33 years in non-governmental non-profit sector (most of them in the organization where I currently serve as Executive Director), and this has shaped the way I think, act and lead. I am a workaholic … but I try to work on my work-life balance. I love my job and consider myself very lucky because I am surrounded by great and inspiring people.
I am a “homo politicus”. I read a lot of political material, listen to political debates and podcasts, and I love to have long discussions about politics with my friends over a beer.
When I am not working, I like to read, travel, hike, birdwatch, paddleboard, and I am crazy about cats. I have one, of course. Her name is Mia.
