
Jan Kroupa
PhD (Philosophy & Ethics)
Jan has 20+ years of experience as an international speaker, trainer, consultant, coach and researcher focused on philanthropy, resource mobilization and leadership in civil society from work in more than twenty countries around the world, primarily in Europe.
With his Ph.D. in philosophy and ethics, he is the founder of the Czech Fundraising Center, a leading CEE capacity building non-profit, the Chair of NETT, the Civil Society Think Tank and one of the founders of the Leaders of Tomorrow International Network. Jan teaches at the Faculty of Humanities at Charles University in Prague and serves on boards of several non-profits.
Jan is a musician and plays in several bands. He is also a puppeteer who makes puppets, as well as writing and performing puppet shows. He finds great inspiration in hiking year-round and playing hockey in the winter. He lives in Prague with his wife and their three daughters.
