Lisa MacDonald

Lisa MacDonald’s passion for philanthropy and journalism has shaped her long-term affiliation with The Hilborn Group, where she serves as Editor in Chief of Charity eNews and Foundation Magazine. Lisa is dedicated to bringing innovative ideas and information to nonprofit sector leaders, and her editorial work spans publications such as Gift Planning in Canada, AFP eWire Canada, and Calgary Foundation’s Advice to Advisors. 

An accomplished non-fiction book editor, Lisa has helped authors bring several bestsellers to market, including Excellence in Fundraising in Canada and Lessons in Philanthropy: The Legacy of Barb McInnes. Her latest projects include hosting the “Let’s Get Real” Podcast, teaching writing, and completing a fiction manuscript for middle grade readers.
