Sandra Blevins

As a passionate, authentic leader and change agent, Sandra has had an impressive professional career in both health and post-secondary education. As the past Dean of the Nursing and School of Health Sciences at Saskatchewan Polytechnic, and spanning three decades of leadership with the Saskatoon Health Region as VP Integrated Health Services, VP Clinical and Operations Support Services, and Director of Medical Affairs, Sandra offers a vast understanding of leadership and teams in the non-profit sector.

Most recently, Sandra has returned to her nursing roots as a clinician at Sanctum Care Group. A seasoned executive, she is a prominent board member and Chair of the YWCA Saskatoon and is on the Saskatoon Community Service Village Board. She is consistently learning herself and loving ‘working outside her comfort zone’.

Her consulting practice focuses on supporting leaders and teams who are willing to make a real difference in the work they do each day. Leveraging her 35 years of senior executive leadership and operations excellence, Sandra actively pursues the study of governance and strives to ensure effective board leadership. In everything she does, she aims to further enable herself and others to do their best work.
